	Everyone will have noticed that the open box is 99% of the time a very happy place, it is such a shame when one person decides to spoil the fun for everyone. It is then that a host will step in and rekindle that community sprit we all love so much. We are also there to look after individuals and always be available to talk to members privately about any difficulties they are experiencing in Worlds.




	A Funny Story!
	I remember once when I was doing my shift, a new penguin arrived - I welcomed him in the open box and in a whisper box to help guide him through the initial confusion! Although I was chatting to him I was getting no reply until suddenly "heeeeelllllllllppppppp I cant seeeeee" appeared in the open box. Worried he had a technical problem with his computer, I added his name to my friends list and arrived in front of him, only to find he was buried in the quicksand, (also realising here was someone with a good sense of humour!!)! I tried to guide him out with instructions, but he appeared to be stuck and the help cries continued (much to the amusement of the crowd gathering!)! I called on my host partner for that shift to join me and it took us a while to entice this penguin out and help him change his appearance - only to have him tell us he had decided he wanted to stay as a penguin! I still giggle at that - this penguin then became one of my very best friends!!



	It is the wonderful people you meet on Worlds that makes it so magical!
