Ground Rules: 1. None of the guests had met before this evening. They have all been invited for dinner at 7 pm. 2. The staff (except Mrs. White) are not considered suspects. 3. The description of the wounds on the body, may be a clue to the weapon used. 4. The murderer will lie. 5. Mr. Body was murdered at 12:01 (a minute after midnight). His corpse was found by his loyal servants shortly thereafter, in the garden maze. 6. You are the detective first on the scene. You must search for clues, interview the guests, and solve the crime. Who is the killer, Where did it happen (the garden is not considered a room), and with what weapon. Mr.Boddy- Cold and very DEAD ! No blood; a pretty clean kill from the looks of it. A blunt instrument, or a rope would be your best guess. It's too hard to tell if he sustained any massive dents or rope burns. The body looks as if it has been dragged into the garden. It was discovered by a young maid. Mr. Green "At the time of the murder, I was .... let's say I was in the company of one of the guests, a lovely lady. To say anything more would be the act of a cad."" Mrs. Peacock "I left the kitchen shortly before midnight, becuase I was growing weary of Mrs. White's chatter. She is a non-stop talker. I heard two men arguing in the Hall as I passed it. I didn't care who they were, so I didn't look." Professor Plum "I showed up just a little early for dinner, and that pompous butler started reading me the riot act. I had the gun, so I shot directly over his head. It was a good straight shot, he was standing just across from my assigned seat. Guess who left the room? I'll give you a hint, it wasn't me. HaHa" Colonel Mustard "The woman who sat at the left of me at dinner talked incessantly. I was happy to leave the table and her company" Mrs White "I was in the kitchen, cleaning up and chatting to Mrs. Peacock. She left to retire for the evening. A few minutes later, I was taking a knife and some fruit along to the study for Mr Boddy's midnight snack, when I heard a scream. I dropped the knife somewhere in the dark." Miss Scarlet "The one guest sitting next to me at dinner has a tattoo on his chest, and the man across from me is extremely allergic to tobacco smoke" Rope:...no message Knife... no message pistol... the gun seems to have been recently discharged. Candlestick... covered in grease and grime leadpipe .. covered in splotches. Are they blood and hair from Mr. Boddy? or rust and hair gunk from the bathroom sink. Wrench... a very serviceable blunt instument. It appears to have a great deal of soot on it. Book... "Pipe Repair" has some grungy rust smudges (maybe fingerprints) on it. Pipe: A man's pipe. It is cold to the touch, but the odor of tobacco is still quite strong. Evidently, someone was in here smoking it, earlier. Shoes: Lady's shoes. It looks like some "lady" walked right out of them... The butler rushes from the room. 7:30 pm All the guests are seated at the table. Mr Boddy sits at the head of the table; nobody sits opposite him. His guests are seated man, woman, man and woman, man, woman Mr. Green is sneaking drinks of bourbon from a bottle ha has hiddden under his chair.
